This is my cup of tea. If you are looking for sophisticated city hotels in Kobe, you must stay here. Once we arrived at the lobby, we felt the luxury and down-to-earth at the same time while seeing a spectacular view. We were escorted to a beautiful room with a nice view of Kobe Bay after checking in. The property would be great for couples, solo travelers, business persons, or groups. I noticed that there were many business persons in the hotel. If you are going to stay here, I would highly recommend booking a room on the Executive Floor. You may want to request a room with a harbor view on the highest floor possible when you book. Staff would be able to meet your request unless it’s a busy season. We chilled out in the room with a beer in hand while seeing a magnificent night view. That’s precious time. Facilities tend to be the latest. The wifi reception was excellent. All of the amenities are taken care of including enough toiletries, pajamas, English tea bags, bottled water, and a Japanese tea set. There are OMNISENS amenities in the bathroom. If you stay on the Executive floor, a complimentary mini-bar including beer, Chūhai, welcome chocolate, and a coffee machine with capsules are available. Room service is available. There is a convenience store nearby. Turn-down service is available. Also, strollers, cribs, and bed guards are available for borrowing if you request in advance. Baby-sitting service is available at an additional charge. Then there is a small gym which you can complimentary use from 5:00-24:00. *A minimum age requirement of 18 applies. Sportswear and running shoes are available for rent, but availability and sizes may be limited. You may want to bring your own. Then the property is universal design. Wheelchairs are available for borrowing. If you take people with weak feet, you may want to inform staff of it in advance as they can arrange a room near the lift. Then the buffet-style western and Japanese cuisine at the main dining for breakfast was simply wonderful. The buffet is not so quite extensive, but each dish tends to be high standard. We fully enjoyed the food while viewing a peaceful city landscape. Breakfast time is from 6:30-10:00. The service is exquisite, attentive, and elegant. They are the loveliest group. Overall the property has great value for money. It’s well worth staying here. Definitely, we would come back again. Access to the property would be easy. It takes 15min from Sannomiya Station or Kobe-Sannomiya Station. It takes 5min by taxi. It costs JPY730. Anyway, the best season to visit Kobe would be in the spring or the fall season. The weather is just nice, not so cold and not so hot. At last, the property is very popular. If you want to chill out at the property in a tranquil atmosphere, you may want to avoid staying during Lunar New Year, late April to early May, weekend in Oct & Nov, and the end of the year and New Year holiday.
