If you are looking for modern hotels with hot springs on Awaji Island, I really think you should stay here. The spring quality is amazing very thick, creamy, and soft. If you are looking for rooms with private hot springs, I would highly recommend it. You can fully enjoy your private hot spring while seeing a beautiful ocean and sunset over the sea. That’s precious time. Perhaps, if you are a gourmet, you should stay here. The food would be equivalent to Michelin 1 or 2 stars. Overall the property is sophisticated. It’s like you’re in another world. The ambiance is serene, tranquil and friendly. The hotel would be great for couples, families, small groups, or solo travelers. There are 29 rooms only. The facilities tend to be the latest. The housekeeping was excellent. The wifi reception was good on the property when we stayed in 2019. PCs are placed for use someone at the library and the lobby. Each room has a wonderful balcony and you can see a beautiful pine grove along the coast. Then the property is connected to a private beach. You may want to take a walk on the beach in the evening as you can view a picturesque sunset in good weather. Then all of the amenities are taken care of including enough toiletries, yukatas, water bottles, and green tea bags, etc. There are POLA skincare products and bath amenities in the bathroom. An air cleaner, a Blu-ray, and a DVD player were placed in our room. Also, this is child-friendly. Staff can provide chairs, meals, and amenities for small children too if you request in advance. Then there are cozy terraces, a lobby lounge, and a library in-house. Complimentary coffee, tea, fresh juice, and herb tea, etc., are available at the library on 3F. Also, complimentary wine, whiskey, brandy, beer, and sake with plums, etc., are available at the lobby lounge from 20:00-24:00. Then there is no convenience store nearby but there is a shop in-house where you can buy drinks and snacks. Then the property is universal design. Wheelchairs are available for borrowing. If you bring people with weak feet, you may want to inform staff in advance as they can arrange a room near the lift. Also, bikes are available for free. Then there are indoor and outdoor communal hot springs with saunas in-house. There are no nice views, though. They are open from 6:00-10:30, 12:30-24:00. *If you have tattoos, you may not be permitted to use the public bathing area. You may want to book a room with a private hot spring. Then there is a small outdoor swimming pool from 7:00-21:00, between early July and early Sep. You need to bring your own swimwear, etc. Then kaiseki food experience wan simply wonderful. All ingredients are so fresh, exquisite, and high-end. The portion tends to be small. Then the Japanese western-style buffet for breakfast was nice. The food wouldn’t be extensive, though. All meals are served in a dining area. Dinner starts from 17:00-20:00. Breakfast time is from 7:30. *Please note that inform staff when you book a room with dinner if you have any food allergies. They probably wouldn’t be able to prepare alternative food if you request on that day. Then, as far as I know, there wouldn’t be nice restaurants near the property. You may want to book a room with meals. Overall the property has great value for money if you stay on weekdays. Anyway, the resort is popular all year round. Because access to the property from Osaka and Kobe is very easy. If you want to chill out in a tranquil atmosphere, you may want to avoid staying during Lunar New Year, late April to early May, the third week of July to late Aug, the weekend in Oct and Nov, and the end of the year and New Year holiday. Then when you visit the property, you can take a Shinki Bus, a Minato Kanko Bus, or an Awaji Kotsu Bus at Sannomiya Bus Terminal near JR Sannomiya Station and then get off at Rikunominato Seidan Bus Stop. It takes around 80min. Bus far is around JPY2,000 per adult. A free shuttle service is available from the bus stop. It takes 10min from the bus stop to the property. Alternatively, you can take a Kansai-airport Limousine bus from Kansai International Airport and then get off at Shichi Bus Stop. It takes 140min. Then free shuttle service is available from the bus stop. You may want to book in advance if you need a shuttle service. At last, don’t forget to check the weather forecast. That’s the most important. Have a nice trip! Welcome to receive any questions about the property from the below space. *All information is as of the date that I posted on my blog.
