If you are looking for luxury modern hotels in Nagasaki, I really think you should stay here. This property would be the best in Nagasaki. Perhaps, if you are looking for romantic venues for special occasions, I would highly recommend Garden Terrace Nagasaki Hotel & Resort. The ambiance is serene, cozy, and tranquil. The property would be great for couples, families, small groups, or solo travelers. The property is designed by Mr. Kengo Kuma who is a world-famous Japanese architect. There are 36 rooms only. If you are going to stay here, I would highly recommend booking an ocean suite room in the cottage. You can see the best night views from this room on the property. The room is spacious, user-friendly, and stylish. We chilled out at the terrace with champagne in hand while seeing peaceful night views. Facilities tend to be the latest. The housekeeping was excellent. The wifi reception was good. All of the amenities are taken care of including enough toiletries, pajamas, bathrobes, drip coffee bags, water bottles, snacks, and green tea bags, etc. There are Shiseido skincare products and BVLGARI bath amenities in the bathroom. A Blu-ray and DVD player, a CD player, and an air cleaner were placed in our room. Also, you can use a streaming service to watch TV dramas and movies. Then the complimentary minibar including beer and champagne was available when we stayed in 2018. Room service is available from 16:00-22:00. There is no convenience store nearby. You may want to buy your necessities before coming here. Then staff can provide baby cribs if you request in advance, but there are no amenities for small children. Then there is an amazing lounge in-house. Complimentary beer, wine, shochu, whisky, coffee, English tea, fresh juice, finger food, macron, cookie, and chocolate, etc., are available from 9:00-22:00. *Children can use the lounge until 18:00. You can relax while drinking and seeing a beautiful night view. Also, you can take our food and beverages to your room. Then there is an outdoor swimming pool. It’s open between July and Sep. You can complimentary use it from 9:00-18:00. After 18:30, it costs JPY3,300. You need to bring your swimwear, etc. Also, there is a private family bath. This is not a hot spring. It’s open from 10:00-22:00. It costs JPY2,200. Then the property is universal design. Wheelchairs are available for borrowing. If you bring people with weak feet, you may want to inform staff in advance as they can arrange a room near the new building where you check-in. The food experience was excellent. There are Sushi Kaiseki, Tempura, Teppanyaki, and western cuisines. We tried Teppanyaki while viewing night landscapes. If you are a gourmet, you must be happy. All ingredients are high-end, exquisite, and testy. All meals are served in a restaurant. You need to book a table in advance. Alternatively, you can go out for dinner as there are some local restaurants around Nagasaki station, but you would need to take a taxi unless you have a car. Then you can choose western or Japanese cuisine for breakfast. Also, you can additionally order curry, beefsteak, and pancake, etc., for Free. It couldn’t be better. Don’t forget to try the beefsteak. If you want to have breakfast in your room, you need to book a royal terrace room in the new building. Then staff tends to be not sophisticated. Overall, the hardware is outstanding, but the software wouldn’t be the same class and still has a long way to go. The price range would be reasonable. If relaxation is your main purpose, the property would be amazingly perfect. Then access to the property would be easy from Nagasaki Station. Free shuttle service from the station is available at 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, or 19:00. It takes 15min by car. You need to book it in advance. Alternatively, you can get a taxi from the station.
