The following onsen ryokans and hotel have rooms with wonderful private onsens that you will want to stay again and again. There are two types of hot springs in Arima Onsen, Golden Spring called Kin-sen and Silver Spring called Gin-sen, and if you are an onsen lover, we would recommend a room with a private Kin-sen onsen. Kinsen contains iron and salt and is characterized by its reddish-brown color and thick, muddy water. Ginsen contains carbonic acid and is clear and colorless.
